Finally, we have the date for our late 2009 recital which is the SATURDAY, 4 PM JAN 23RD, 2010. Here is the detail below:
Chinese Dance, Music followed by Buffet Dinner
Saturday January 23, 2010 4:00 pm–7:30 pm
Isabel Bader Theatre (93 Charles St W)
and Gardiner Museum Terrace Room
“A family-oriented afternoon of gorgeous dance, lively music (4 pm) and a light buffet of Chinese favourites (6 pm)!
Proceeds from this event will be in support of the Education & Programs of the Gardiner Museum
$30 and $15 for children under 12.
VIP $50 (donation receipt $20)

The Orient Dance Company (Toronto)

The Orient Dance Company (Toronto), a not-for-profit organization, was found in 1997 by several dedicated dancers who had a passion for Chinese folk dance and traditional Chinese culture. The goals and aspirations outlined for the Company are to learn, treasure and promote the different minority folk and classical dances of China, so that people, especially the Canadian Chinese – children, students, educators and individuals who have a passion for Chinese folk dance and traditional Chinese culture, may have the opportunity to be exposed to and to learn about the traditional cultures of China.
